SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Oral Roberts baseball's
Jack Hill and
Makani Tanaka have been named to the Summit League All-Academic team, the league office announced Wednesday afternoon.
The 2026 #SummitBSB All-Academic Team featured a quartet of repeat honorees along with seven first-time recipients as the squad was released Monday by League officials. St. Thomas' Joe Roder and Northern Colorado's Jake Storey both earned their third consecutive honor, while fellow Tommie Adam Puder and fellow Bear Brandon Sanchez each earned their second straight honor.
Northern Colorado and North Dakota State led all Summit League teams with three total honorees, while Oral Roberts and St. Thomas each had two and Omaha had one to make up the 11-member team.
Joining Storey and Sanchez from UNC was 2026 Scholar of the Championship Gus Allred, while North Dakota State's trio was comprised of outfielder Colton Becker, relief pitcher Brayden Marks, and starting pitcher Parker Puetz.

Jack Hill. Those two helped the Golden Eagles to their 23
rd regular season title, while Omaha third baseman Henry Zipay rounded out the squad.
To be eligible for the Academic All-League team, a student-athlete must have a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of at least 3.30 (on a 4.0 scale), completed at least one full academic year at the current institution and participated in 50 percent of their team's competitions, except pitchers who must have participated in 20 percent of their team's total contests.
Nominations are brought forth by sports information directors from the league's participating members, and voting is conducted by both SIDs and FARs. The teams are made up of ten student-athletes receiving the most votes with all ties standing.
