TULSA, Okla. – Coming off a narrow 4-2 defeat to #1 Arkansas, the Oral Roberts university baseball team will be back in action for a three-game series against the Jackrabbits of South Dakota State

This weekend rotation for ORU will include:
Friday - Jakob Hall (6.75 ERA, 1-1)
Saturday - Brooks Fowler (7.40 ERA, 1-2)
Sunday - Joshua Caravalho (0.00 ERA, 0-0)

Inside the Series
• Oral Roberts is 75-20 all time against South Dakota State since their first matchup in 1971. 

• The Golden Eagles have 14 of their 15 last games against the Jackrabbits and are currently on a six-game win streak against their Summit League foe.

• ORU has not dropped a home series against SDS since March of 2019.

Quick Hits  
• Elijah Rodriguez is entering the game fresh off collecting his 27th hit of the season and will face off against Cael Frost (27 hits) in the battle of two of the top hitters in the Summit League.

• Holden Breeze and Kyle Booker have reached base safely in all 17 games this season, and Booker currently looking to extend his seven-game hitting streak to double digits this weekend.

• ORU has by far has the most plate discipline in the Summit League, as the top three leaders all are Golden Eagles (Drew Stahl 13, Alex Rodgers 12, and David Herring 10).

Scouting the Opponent
• Cael Frost extended his hitting streak to 15 games in a loss against Kansas State and currently leads the league in hits, SLG%, OPS, RBI's, and home runs.

• The Jackrabbits had quite the weekend series against SIUE as they won the series, winning three out of four games 

• SDSU also swept the Week 4 TicketSmarter Peak Performer of the Week nods with Cael Frost earning the Peak Performer honor and right-hander Jake Goble receiving Peak Pitcher recognition .
