Tulsa, Okla. – The Oral Roberts baseball team gears up for a pivotal series in the Summit League regular season title race as they are set to host first-place St. Thomas at J.L. Johnson Stadium

• The Golden Eagles lead the all-time series 8-1 since their first showdown in 2022.

•  ORU swept their season series against the Tommies in 2023, outscoring their league foe 65-13 across six games.

• The Tommies have never scored 10+ runs on the Golden Eagles and have only scored 5+ runs once.

Quick Hits
• Holden Breeze enters this matchup as the reigning Summit League Peak Performer of the Week. Breeze hit safely in all four of ORU's games last week, going 9-for-18 at the plate with a pair of home runs and seven RBI. He finished the series win at Northern Colorado with an 8-for-15 effort that included a four-hit, four-run outing in the series-opening win and added a three-hit effort in the game-two victory.

• Elijah Rodriguez is currently leading the Summit League in hits (47) and steals (9) in his debut season for ORU.

• The Golden Eagles' offense is coming off their best performance in a Summit League series this season. Last weekend ORU as a team batted .382, collected 42 hits, scored 36 runs, and blasted seven home runs.


• Jakob Hall has been on a tear these past three weeks. In 23.2 innings of work, the right hander has struckout over 29 batters while boasting a 2.33 ERA during that span.


•  Breeze continues to be a nightmare at the plate for Summit League pitchers. The third baseman is currently batting .389 with two home runs and nine RBIs in nine league appearances.
