.– The Oral Roberts University baseball team is set to make their 30th NCAA Regional and 31st postseason appearance with a Friday-night duel against Oklahoma. The Golden Eagles will venture into Norman coming off their 22nd Summit League Tournament Championship completing the fourth three-peat in league history. ORU will join Duke and UCONN in the double elimination bracket with the host-institution Oklahoma.

Inside the Series
• Friday night marks the 84th meeting all-time between the two clubs since their first game in 1970.
• The Sooners lead the series 46-38 and split two games they played last year at J.L. Johnson Stadium.
• The two programs split the regular season series between the squads with the Golden Eagles coming out on top most recently in a 3-1 win at home.


Jakob Hall of Fame
•  The right hander from Bartlesville will enter Friday night undefeated over the last 77 calendar days.
•  Jakob Hall holds a career 0.00 ERA against the Sooners, striking out five in three innings of relief back in 2022.
•  The newly crowned Summit League Pitcher of the Year recently eclipsed the 100-strikeout barrier with 105 on the season and will need just four to cement his name in the top ten on the single-season leaderboard.

Arm Farm Report

•  In the last ten games the ORU bullpen has combined for a 2.54 ERA with 44 strikeouts in 43 innings while holding opponents to a .200 batting average.
•  During that span Conner Floyd, Dalton Patten, and Braydon Sanford have combined for 12.2 shutout innings.
•  Ryan Carmack (1.93), Caleb Issacs (1.93), and Owen Reynolds (1.35) joined Floyd, Patten, and Sanford with ERAs under 2.00 during that span.

Hustle and Muscle

•  In his debut postseason appearance, Elijah Rodriguez displayed his slugging over the course of the week going yard from both sides of the fence with a 1.861 OPS.
•  In his last ten games he has batted a team-high .469 and 14 RBIs.
•  This season, Rodriguez is batting .333 against the Sooners.

Throwing the Book at them

•  Kyle Booker has been stellar in the 4-spot for the Golden Eagles down the stretch. The senior is batting .366 with three homers and 13 RBIs in the last 10 games.
•  He enters this matchup batting .315 with runners on base and .333 with the bases loaded.

Easy Breezey

•  Holden Breeze makes his fifth appearance against the Sooners and has been stellar against them this year batting .600 with a 1.400 OPS.
•  The senior enters the regional striking out only 27 times compared to his 26 multi-hit games.

Chasing History

•  Making his seventh trip to the NCAA Tournament Ryan Folmar will enter the regional with 398 career wins at ORU and 7 tournament championship titles.
•  With two wins this weekend will join Larry Cochell (428) as the only skippers in program history to reach 400 career wins.
