FAYETTEVILLE, ARK. – The Oral Roberts Cross Country program resumes competition as the competes in the Chile Pepper Festival hosted by the Arkansas Razorbacks this Saturday.

Last weekend at the Cowboy Jamboree, the Golden Eagles placed 8
th in the men's 8K race and 13
th in the women's 6K race, competing against some of the best programs in America.
Abraham Chelangam comes off his second Kwik Star Summit League Athlete of the Week Award for his performance in Stillwater, placing 17th overall. Coach Alick's team has also remained consistent, however, ranking 12
th in the Midwest according to the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.
ORU did not make the trip to the Chile Pepper Festival in 2024, but returned as one of 31 schools competing in the men's 8K, and 32 schools in the women's 6K race. The meet features teams such as Arkansas, Texas, Tulane, Wichita State, and North Texas. The men's 8K will kick off at 10:25 AM and the women's 6K at 11:00 AM.
This is the Golden Eagles' second-to-last meet of the regular season as they will wrap it up in two weeks at the Weis-Crockett Invitational in Stillwater, Oklahoma.
