TULSA, Okla. – The Oral Roberts University Athletic Department, in conjunction with the Golden Eagle Club, has announced a transformational gift from the Chapman Foundation to support the ORU Baseball program. The gift includes the renaming of the baseball stadium, which will now be known as Chapman Park.
 
"We want to thank the Chapman Foundation and trustees Donne Pitman and Andie Doyle for their phenomenal support of ORU Athletics over the years," said Athletic Director Tim Johnson. "Their support has led to some of the most transformational projects in ORU Athletic history, and now, they have forever changed the ORU Baseball program. Chapman Park will stand among the best baseball facilities in the nation and provide ORU student-athletes with the absolute best in training and development. We look forward to celebrating many more championships inside Chapman Park!"
 
The venue's new name will honor the Chapman Foundation and their continued generosity to ORU Athletics and the pursuit of greatness.
 
The effort continues a complete renovation of the baseball stadium, including a new locker room, player's lounge, and state-of-the-art pitching lap.
 
Additional details regarding the project are as follows:

• New fan amenities
  • Over 2,000 new seats with cupholders
  • Completely renovated concession areas
  • New concourse and branding
• All new exterior surfaces, branding, and reimagined entry experiences
• Redesigned videoboard experience for fan engagement
• New visiting team bullpen
• Updated home bullpen
• New team meeting spaces
• New coaches' locker room and lounge
• New office spaces
• New restrooms
• New athletic training facilities
• Phase II in the Fall of 2025
  • Full new field turf in both the infield and outfield
  • On-field suites with grills, on-field seating/inside seating, and premium amenities
  • New deck/grill areas

The ORU Baseball season kicks off February 14^th at the newly renovated Chapman Park as the Golden Eagles host Arkansas – Pine Bluff in a three-game series. Coming off of a 2024 Summit League Championship and a trip to the Norman Regional, Coach Folmar and company look to bring another championship back to Tulsa for the fourth consecutive year.
