 TULSA, OKLA. - The Oral Roberts baseball team scored four times in the fifth to get past Northern Colorado in game two by a final of 7-3, winning the weekend series.

Cooper Combs reached base three times, including blasting his eighth homer of the season to open the scoring, tying him for the team lead with
Jack Schark.Â

Nathan Love got off to a hot start, punching out four Bears in the first two frames to continue what has been a great season for the right-hander at Chapman Park. The game remained scoreless until the bottom of the third inning when Combs hit a liner down the left field line, just clearing the short porch into the UNC bullpen to open the scoring.

In the top of the fourth, however, Northern Colorado would duplicate that homer with a two-run shot their tying it at two. Moments later, they'd tack on one more with an RBI single in the fifth, taking their first and only lead.

The Golden Eagle bats came to life in the home half of the fifth inning as they scored four times on a two-run triple from Schark and RBI singles from
Keaton Campbell and
Ethan Fender, taking a 6-3 lead.Â

The bullpens on both sides found a groove putting up zeros in the seventh and eighth innings until
Will Edmunson knocked in a run in the bottom of the eighth, driving in a run of insurance.

Weston Rouse capped for a 2.2 inning outing in the ninth inning, striking out two in the frame and securing the series win, tying Head Coach
Ryan Folmar with Larry Cochell for first on the program's win list.
