TULSA, Okla. – The Oral Roberts men's basketball team and Head Coach Kory Barnett have announced the addition of transfer forward Yuto Yamanouchi-Williams to the 2025-26 roster.

"We're excited to add Yuto Yamanouchi-Williams to our roster," said Coach Barnett. "He's one of the most versatile players on our team—his ability to stretch the floor and rebound at a high level makes him a tough matchup. After sitting out last season, he's hungry and ready to compete with renewed passion."
 
From Aizuwakamatsu, Japan, Yamanouchi-Williams transfers to the Golden Eagles from Nevada where he redshirted the 2024-25 season following impactful seasons at both Portland and Lamar. As a sophomore at Portland, the 6-10 forward started 11 of 12 games and averaged 8.6 points and 5.2 rebounds per game, while shooting 43.8 percent from the floor and 35.6 percent from beyond the arc. He opened his stint with the Pilots by notching a double-double in his debut and posted a season-high 17 points on 7-of-8 shooting against Santa Clara.
 
As a freshman at Lamar, Yamanouchi-Williams appeared in 28 games with 24 starts, putting up 6.9 points and a team-high 7.1 rebounds per contest. He recorded six double-doubles on the season, highlighted by an 18-point, 11-rebound effort against Texas A&M-Commerce.
 
A product of Ribet Academy in Los Angeles, Yamanouchi-Williams helped his team to consecutive California Division IV State Championship appearances. He also brings international pedigree, having represented Japan's U19 National Team and spent time playing professionally with Earth Friends Tokyo Z in the Japanese B League.
 
He is the son of Kevin Williams and Kyo Yamanouchi-Williams and has one younger brother, Kevin Jr.
