TULSA, Oklahoma – The Oral Roberts baseball team is back on the road for two midweek games at Arkansas Little Rock Tuesday and Wednesday, March 17-18.

Last Time Out:
The Golden Eagles are coming off a series sweep over South Dakota State, defeating the Jackrabbits 4-3, 3-1, and 12-2.
 
Tyler Brodrick and Keaton Campbell led the team over the three-game series, each batting .500 and going four-for-eight at the plate. Brodrick scored three runs while driving in four. Wailele Kane-Yates led the team in extra-base hitting, batting .455 in the series with a double and a triple.
 
Easton Teel made a big impact, starting game one and throwing 7.0 innings. The sophomore right-hander allowed just one earned run and one walk while striking out four. Jack Hill (2-0) earned the win out of the bullpen for Oral Roberts on Friday, going two innings and allowing one run on two hits.
 
Jackson Farrell (1-0) picked up the victory out of the bullpen for Oral Roberts Saturday. The left-hander went 2.1 shutout innings while giving up one hit, allowing one walk, and striking out two. Nathan Love also made an impact on the mound for the Golden Eagles, starting the ballgame and throwing 5.2 innings, giving up one run on five hits with two walks and three strikeouts.
 
Weston Rouse (1-0) picked up the victory out of the bullpen for ORU Sunday after going three innings, giving up one run on two hits while allowing two walks and striking out five. Conner Johnson started for the Golden Eagles, throwing four innings and giving up one run on four hits with two walks and four strikeouts.

Tuesday: RHP Brenden Asher (2-2 / 4.19 ERA / 19.1 IP) vs. RHP Gage Haley (1-1 / 7.53 ERA / 14.1 IP)

Inside the Series:
This week's games will mark the 29th and 30th all-time meetings between ORU and the Trojans. Dating back to 1996, the Golden Eagles hold a 22-6 all-time series record. The two last met in 2024, with ORU taking both games, first 7-6 in Arkansas and later 5-3 at Chapman Park.
 
Scouting the Opponent:
Arkansas Little Rock is currently 10-9 on the season and most recently won a series against Samford. The Trojans fell 5-4 in game one before defeating the Bulldogs 5-1 and 12-2.
 
Projected Tuesday starter Gage Haley has a 1-1 record and most recently took the loss in game one against Samford after throwing 1.1 innings and allowing two earned runs on two hits. Haley notably opened the season with a six-strikeout, three-inning outing against Eastern Michigan. He currently leads the team with two saves on the season.
 
The Trojans have a 6.19 team ERA, allowing 8.87 hits per nine innings. Brannon Westmoreland's 2.05 ERA is a team best and ranks fifth in the OVC, while his 4.67 strikeout-to-walk ratio leads the conference.
 
As a team, LR has a .284 batting average with 181 hits, including 41 doubles, four triples, and 18 home runs. Kade Smith ranks third in the OVC with a .400 batting average and is tied for fourth in the conference alongside Ty Rhoades with seven doubles each.
 
Head coach Chris Curry has a 274-306 career record, all in 12 seasons at Arkansas Little Rock.
