Last Time Out:
The Golden Eagles are coming off a series sweep over St. Thomas. ORU shut out the Tommies 4-0 in game one before taking games two and three, 8-2 and 11-3.
Martell Davis led ORU over the series, recording six hits in 11 at-bats with a double and a home run while tallying three RBI. Davis slashed .545/.545/.909 against the Tommies.
Joining in the extra-base hitting were
Wailele Kane-Yates with two home runs,
Tyler Brodrick with one, and
Cooper Combs with a double. Kane-Yates led the team in RBI, driving in six runs over the three games, including a grand slam in the series finale.
Easton Teel opened for the Golden Eagles Friday, going 6.2 shutout innings while allowing four hits, walking none, and recording a career-best nine strikeouts.
Weston Rouse picked up the win out of the bullpen, tossing 2.1 shutout innings while allowing two hits, walking one, and striking out four.
Inside the Series:
This week will mark the fourth meeting between ORU and the Falcons, with the Golden Eagles holding a 2-1 advantage in the all-time series. The two teams last met in February, when ORU defeated Air Force 6-3 in a neutral-site game at Dallas Baptist.

Scouting the Opponent:
Air Force is currently 9-12 on the season with a 5-1 record in Mountain West Conference play.
The Falcons recently won a series 2-1 over Nevada, falling 10-7 in game one before taking games two and three, 18-5 and 17-12.
Air Force ranks 18th in the nation in scoring, averaging 9.4 runs per game. The Falcons are fifth nationally in stolen bases (75) and fourth in stolen bases per game (3.57).
Kayden Bradshaw leads the team and ranks third in the conference in batting average (.403). His .505 on-base percentage ranks third in the Mountain West, while his 28 runs scored rank fourth. Walker Zapp leads the team and is second in the conference in RBI (29).
On the mound, the Falcons have a 7.56 team ERA, allowing 11.13 hits per nine innings while striking out 8.3 batters per nine innings.

Easton Teel was named the Summit League Peak Pitcher of the Week Tuesday. The right-hander threw 6.2 scoreless innings in the Golden Eagles' series-opening 4-0 win over St. Thomas. The Choctaw, Okla., native scattered four hits and struck out a career-high nine Tommies.
