TULSA, Oklahoma – The Oral Roberts baseball team is set to continue Summit League play at Chapman Park with a four-game series beginning with a doubleheader Friday, April 24.

Cooper Combs opened the scoring with a first-inning grand slam, bringing home

The Sooners responded with a home run in the second, but ORU answered quickly as

Will Edmunson earned the latest Kwik Star Summit League Baseball weekly honor, being named the Peak Performer on Tuesday.
Edmunson helped ORU post its fourth sweep in five Summit League series as the Golden Eagles took all three games from South Dakota State. He extended his hitting streak to 10 games after batting .500 across four contests last week.
He opened the week going 3-for-4 in a non-conference tilt at Central Arkansas before recording a hit in all three wins over the Jackrabbits. The Luther, Okla., native finished the SDSU series 5-for-12 (.417) with two doubles, a home run, and six RBI.
Edmunson had just four RBI through ORU's first 24 games before driving in 11 runs during his current seven-game RBI streak.
