The Golden Eagles are coming off a 2-2 weekend against North Dakota State, defeating the Bison 14-3 (7 inn.) in game two and 3-2 in game three.
Makani Tanaka led ORU over the four-game series, going 9-for-16 at the plate. He hit two home runs in game two and recorded doubles in both games three and four. The senior outfielder tallied 10 RBI, including a career-high and Summit League season-best six RBI in game two.
Easton Teel started game one and threw 6.0 innings, recording a career-high and Summit League season-best 14 strikeouts.
Inside the Series:
Tuesday's game marks the second of three midweek matchups between the Golden Eagles and Cowboys this season.
Dating back to 1972, the Golden Eagles hold a 44-39 all-time series advantage over Oklahoma State. The two last met earlier this month, with ORU earning a 10-9 win in Stillwater on April 7.

Senior outfielder
Will Edmunson earned the latest Kwik Star Summit League Baseball weekly honor, being named the Peak Performer on April 21.
Edmunson helped ORU post its fourth sweep in five Summit League series as the Golden Eagles took all three games from South Dakota State. He extended his hitting streak to 10 games after batting .500 across four contests last week.
He opened the week going 3-for-4 in a non-conference tilt at Central Arkansas before recording a hit in all three wins over the Jackrabbits. The Luther, Okla., native finished the SDSU series 5-for-12 (.417) with two doubles, a home run, and six RBI.
Edmunson had just four RBI through ORU's first 24 games before driving in 11 runs during his current seven-game RBI streak.

Easton Teel continues to make his mark nationally, as the right-hander's 2.89 career ERA ranks 13th in NCAA Division I, while his 1.99 walks per nine innings rank 27th.
Golden Eagle Defense:
ORU's defense ranks among the nation's best, as its .984 fielding percentage ranks seventh nationally. The Golden Eagles have also turned 28 double plays this season, the third-most in the league.
Scouting the Opponent:
Oklahoma State is currently 28-16 on the season with an 11-10 mark in Big 12 play.
The Cowboys recently swept a three-game series at Texas Tech, defeating the Red Raiders 16-6 (7 inn.), 9-8, and 11-2.
OSU has a .277 team batting average with 408 hits, including 82 doubles, eight triples, and 98 home runs, which ranks second in the nation.
Alex Conover leads the team and ranks fifth in the conference with a .386 batting average. He is 11th in the Big 12 in hits per game (1.44), sixth in on-base percentage (.495), and 16th in slugging percentage (.594).
Junior left-hander Kollin Ritchie ranks fourth in the nation with 22 home runs this season. He is also seventh in RBI (61) and 11th in slugging percentage (.789).
On the mound, OSU has a 6.18 team ERA, allowing 9.62 hits per nine innings. The Cowboys rank second in the conference and 23rd nationally with 10.3 strikeouts per nine innings.
