The Golden Eagles are coming off an 11-6 midweek win over Oklahoma State.
Cooper Combs led the team with two hits, including a two-run homer in the fourth and a double in the seventh. Also hitting it out of the park was
Cooper Kelly, putting solo shot 385 feet over the right field wall.
Keaton Campbell rounded out the Golden Eagle's extra-base hitting with an RBI double in the fifth.
ORU starter
Brenden Asher (1-3) earned the win after throwing 5.0 shutout innings, allowing just two hits while striking out three.
Luke Williams also stood out, tossing 1.0 inning and striking out three batters.

With St. Thomas joining the Summit League ahead of the 2022 season, the Golden Eagles hold an 14-10 edge in the all-time series. The two last met in Tulsa in March, with ORU sweeping the series 4-0, 8-2, 11-3.

Tanaka Player of the Week x2:
Makani Tanaka collected his second Kwik Star Summit League Baseball weekly honor on April 28. The senior outfielder went 9-for-16 (.563) to help ORU split a four-game set with North Dakota State. Tanaka also racked up 10 RBI and now leads all Summit League hitters with 20 in conference play.
In ORU's 14-3 victory in game two of the series, the Honolulu, Hawaii native delivered the first multi-homer game of his career and drove in a career-high six. He had multiple RBI in three games vs. the Bison and capped the series with the first four-hit game of his season.

Easton Teel continues to make his mark nationally, as the right-hander's 2.89 career ERA ranks 13th in NCAA Division I, while his 1.99 walks per nine innings rank 26th.
Golden Eagle Defense:
ORU's defense ranks among the nation's best, as its .985 fielding percentage ranks seventh nationally. The Golden Eagles have also turned 30 double plays this season, the second-most in the league.
Scouting the Opponent:
St. Thomas is currently 9-30 on the season, sitting fifth in the Summit Leagie with an 6-11 record.
The Tommies recently fell to Minnesota 12-1 on Tuesday following a series win over Omaha last weekend.
Saturday starter Owen Marsolek was awarded the win against Omaha, throwing 7.1 innings while allowing four runs on seven hits with one walk and four strikeouts.
The Tommies are batting .269 as a team, led by Owen Bond's .356 average, ranked second in the league. UST has recorded 360 hits this season with 71 doubles (the most in the league), 11 triples, and 22 home runs. Bond's four triples this season are a league-best and rank 26th nationally.
UST leads the league in stolen bases with 69 on the season, led by junior Tanner Recchio who ranks tenth nationally with nearly half of the teams stolen bases this season (30). The Tommies also lead the league in sacrifice bunts (29), ranking 35th nationally. Recchio's nine sac bunts rank 16th in the nation.
The Tommies' 33 double plays this season are a league best, averaging .85 per game.
St. Thomas has a 7.99 team ERA, allowing 10.46 hits per nine innings.
