TULSA, Oklahoma – The Oral Roberts baseball team is set to wrap up the 2026 home slate against No. 21 Oklahoma State on Tuesday, May 12 at 6 p.m.

Last Time Out:
The Golden Eagles recently won the Summit League Regular Season title after a series victory over Omaha, defeating the Mavericks 4-3 in game one to secure the title before falling 7-5 and 8-6 in the final two contests.
 
Game one stayed neck-and-neck, with ORU gaining the advantage in the seventh inning on an RBI walk.
 
Cooper Combs led the weekend, hitting 6-for-11 with a double. Keaton Campbell and Makani Tanaka each hit a home run on the weekend, while Ethan Fender led the team with four RBI.
 
Jack Hill earned the win in game one, throwing 2.1 hitless, shutout innings.
 
Inside the Series:
Tuesday's game marks the third midweek matchup between the Golden Eagles and Cowboys this season.
 
Dating back to 1972, the Golden Eagles hold a 45-39 all-time series advantage over Oklahoma State. In the first meeting this season, ORU earned a 10-9 win in Stillwater on April 7. The two teams later met at ONEOK Field, where the Golden Eagles defeated OSU 11-6.

Ace of Ks:
Right-hander Easton Teel has cemented his spot in ORU's pitching rotation, starting game one of every series this season. The sophomore has tallied 48 strikeouts in conference play with a league-leading 22 strikeouts looking.
 
National Nods:
A pair of Golden Eagle pitchers earned national recognition Wednesday, May 7. Starting pitcher Easton Teel and reliever Jack Hill were named to D1 Baseball's Top Starting and Relief Pitchers lists, respectively. This marks Teel's second midseason recognition by the organization, while Hill earned his first appearance, coming in at No. 51 in the Week 12 relief pitcher rankings.
 
Career Leader:
Sophomore starter Easton Teel continues to make his mark nationally, as the right-hander's 3.05 career ERA ranks 20th in NCAA Division I, while his 1.97 walks per nine innings rank 21st.
 
Golden Eagle Defense:
ORU's defense ranks among the nation's best, as its .982 fielding percentage ranks 10th nationally. The Golden Eagles have also turned 35 double plays this season, the second-most in the league.
 
Scouting the Opponent:
Oklahoma State is ranked No. 21 by D1 Baseball and holds a 33-18 overall record with a 16-11 mark in Big 12 play.
 
As a team, the Cowboys have a .280 batting average with 96 doubles and eight triples, and they rank second nationally with 124 home runs. Their .562 slugging percentage ranks sixth nationally and second in the conference.
 
Alex Conover's .392 batting average leads the team and ranks 15th nationally, while his .505 on-base percentage ranks 25th. Junior Kollin Ritchie ranks second nationally with 27 home runs this season, sixth with 71 RBI, and fourth in slugging percentage (.843).
 
On the mound, OSU has posted a 6.33 team ERA, allowing 9.74 hits per nine innings. The Cowboys own a 1.96 strikeout-to-walk ratio and average 10.3 strikeouts per nine innings.
 
Head coach Josh Holliday has compiled a 508-281-2 career record, all in 14 seasons at OSU.
