TULSA, Oklahoma – The Oral Roberts baseball team is set to wrap up the 2026 regular season at Northern Colorado with a three-game series beginning Thursday, May 14 at 3 p.m. CT.

The Golden Eagles are coming off a midweek loss to #21 Oklahoma State, falling 12-7 on Tuesday evening.

The Golden Eagles secured their 24th Summit League regular season title on Saturday, May 9, after defeating Omaha 4-3 to secure the top seed in the conference tournament.

Easton Teel has cemented his spot in ORU's pitching rotation, starting game one of every series this season. The sophomore has tallied 48 strikeouts in conference play with a league-leading 22 strikeouts looking.

Jack Hill were named to D1 Baseball's Top Starting and Relief Pitchers lists, respectively. This marks Teel's second midseason recognition by the organization, while Hill earned his first appearance, coming in at No. 51 in the Week 12 relief pitcher rankings.

Easton Teel continues to make his mark nationally, as the right-hander's 3.05 career ERA ranks 20th in NCAA Division I, while his 1.97 walks per nine innings also rank 20th.
Golden Eagle Defense:
ORU's defense ranks among the nation's best, as its .982 fielding percentage ranks 10th nationally. The Golden Eagles have also turned 36 double plays this season, the most in the league.
Scouting the Opponent:
Northern Colorado enters the final series with a 15-34 overall record and a 12-13 mark in Summit League play, currently sitting fourth in the conference.
Last week, the Bears defeated North Dakota State 10-4 and 9-7 before falling 12-9 in game two.
UNC leads the league in batting average (.279) and has recorded 73 doubles, 13 triples, and 29 home runs. Jaden Stone leads the team and ranks third in the league with a .343 batting average, .440 on-base percentage, and 61 hits.
On the mound, UNC has an 8.37 team ERA, led by Thursday starter Reece Wagner (5.80 ERA). Wagner ranks second in the league in opposing batting average (.252) and fourth in strikeouts (60).
Head coach Mike Anderson has compiled a 397-335-3 career record, going 60-139-1 in four seasons at UNC.
