FAYETTEVILLE, ARK. – The Golden Eagles will be represented at the 2026 NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships in Eugene, Oregon, as
Jordan Wenger qualified in the high jump on Friday afternoon in Arkansas.
Wenger, a sophomore out of Colorado Springs, Colorado, placed fourth in the men's high jump with a height of 2.20M (7'2.5"), beating out jumpers from Illinois, Texas A&M, Houston, Texas Tech, Texas, Nebraska, Kansas, and Oklahoma. The top 12 finishers get a qualifying bid to compete at NCAA nationals.
Woedem Vasmark-Voegborlo also impressed in the event placing 15
th out of 43 athletes, posting personal record height at 2.12M (6'11.5"). That wraps up a successful senior campaign which features two personal bests and a silver medal at the Summit League Conference Championships.
Oral Roberts will be represented by Wenger at Oregon on June 10
th for Track & Field Nationals with Wenger entering ranked seventh in the country and first in the Midwest Region on TFRRS's rankings. It is his first national appearance of his college career.
