EUGENE, OR. – Jordan Wenger set a new personal record twice en route to a fourth-place finish, earning 1^st team All-American honors at NCAA Nationals on Friday.
 
Wenger, whose previous personal best was 2.21M, was able to surpass that twice to creep into the top four in the high jump.  He was able to clear 2.22M and 2.25M, being just one of four athletes to do so.  The top eight finishers in each event automatically earn first team All-American honors.
 
In a 24-jumper field, the Colorado Springs native beat out athletes from Georgia, USC, Illinois, Nebraska, Mississippi State, Texas A&M, Oklahoma, Ole Miss, and Texas. 
 
He finishes his sophomore season with three new personal records, a school record, a Summit League Gold Medal, a qualifying finish in the west regional, and a top-4 finish with first team All-America honors.
