#ORUTF's Macey Penner and Jaxson Brooks Earn All-Academic Honors

TULSA, OKLA. – Oral Roberts' Macey Penner and Jaxson Brooks each earned Academic All-Summit League honors for their efforts n the track and in the classroom during the 2026 season.

Thirty Summit League outdoor track and field student-athletes, 15 women and 15 men, have been named to the 2026 Summit League Outdoor Track and Field Academic All-League Team as voted on by a panel of Faculty Athletic Representatives and Sports Information Directors from the League's member institutions. The recipients were chosen based on their academic and athletic performances during the outdoor season.

North Dakota State landed a League-leading 10 selections overall, including topping the women's team with four and men's team with six, respectively. South Dakota State earned five overall selections, while North Dakota and Kansas City garnered four, and South Dakota landed three. St. Thomas and Oral Roberts each had two.

Macey Penner earns her third academic all-league honor with, majoring in Health Science, and Jaxson Brooks collects his second majoring in Medical Molecular Biology.  

To be eligible for the Academic All-League team, a student-athlete must have a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.30 (on a 4.0 scale), completed at least one full academic year at the current institution and participated in 50 percent of their team's competitions.
 
Nominations are brought forth by sports information directors from the league's eight institutions that carry track and field, and voting is conducted by both the SIDs and facility athletic representatives (FARs). Each team is made up of the 15 student-athletes receiving the most votes with all ties standing.
