TULSA, OKLA. – The Summit League postseason awards for the outdoor track and field season were announced Wednesday, with Oral Roberts'
Jordan Wenger capturing Field Athlete of the Year after his record-breaking season.
The sophomore was consistently ranked in the top 10 nationally and the top three in the Midwest region according to TFRRS's rankings. He would finish the year atop the Midwest Region ranks.
Over the course of the outdoor campaign, Wenger broke two school records, won the Summit League conference championship, qualified for NCAA Nationals, and finished fourth at the event, earning first-team All-American honors in the NCAA and TFRRS.
