Tulsa, Okla. - LSU New Orleans-Nicholls Invitational concludes for Oral Roberts Volleyball against LSU New Orleans, as the Golden Eagles sweep the tournament with a five-set win over LSU New Orleans. 

ORU fell short in the first set of the game 25-17.  Recording 17 kills and 3 team blocks, the Golden Eagles took set two, dominating by nine points, 25-16. ORU fell short again in set three, 25-10. With a strong start of six points to nothing, the Golden Eagles took set four in a dominant manner 25-16. Continuing the lead, ORU took the last set, 15-10, finishing the weekend as the only undefeated team in the LSU New Orleans-Nicholls Invitational. 

Game notes

Cortnee Smith got double-double of 19 kills and 12 digs, finishing the weekend with total 55 kills and 30 digs. 

Ana Stojicic helped the defence, getting 16 digs, ending the weekend with 22 digs. 

Ciara Cunningham had 18 kills and six digs, wrapping up the weekend with 42 kills and 16 digs.  

Ana Appel logged 41 assists five aces in the match, and finished the weekend with total of 123 assists, 29 digs, four blocks. 

As a team, ORU finished the tournament with 159 kills, 145 assists, 28 aces, and 169 digs, recording 278 points.
