four double plays and two relievers combined to pitch four shutout

Johnson Stadium.
ORU (8-9) trailed 2-0 in the bottom of the third when David
Castillo hit a disputed two-run homer to tie the game. Third base

Heublein, giving Castillo his fourth home run of the season and
knotting the game 2-2.

Hayhurst (1-1) for two more runs in the fifth. Grant Plumley and
Josh Lex each had RBI singles, giving ORU a 4-2 lead.
Kent State grabbed a 2-0 lead with a pair of runs in the top of
the third on pat O'Brien's two-run single. Kent State threatened
several times late in the game, but the Golden Eagles turned double
plays in the sixth, seventh and eighth innings to help reliever
Justin Ramsey preserve the lead. ORU also turned two in the top of
the first to end an early Kent State threat.
Dallas Martin pitched a perfect ninth, getting a pair of
strikeouts and his first save of the season.
Sean Sorrow (2-0) battled through five innings in getting the
win for ORU. The junior right-hander allowed two runs on seven hits
while walking five and striking out five. Ramsey threw three
shutout innings, allowing just two hits.

two RBI. Scot Campbell was 2-for-4 with two runs scored for the
