Stiles (Calgary, Alberta, Canada) fired an even par 71 to lead
Oral Roberts University men's golf team to a sixth-place standing
after one round of the Missouri State Branson Creek Invitational,
Monday at Branson Creek Golf Club. Monday's play was shortened to
one round after heavy thunderstorms moved through the area.
The Golden
Eagles shot a collective 295 and are 10 strokes behind team leader
Illinois State (285) in the 12-team field. Stiles is tied for fifth
place and trails co-leaders Tommy Bliefnick of Illinois State and
Sam Hinson of Tennessee-Martin by two strokes.
Terance
Begnel (Tulsa, Okla.) is tied for 5th at two-over par 73, while Paul
Moxen (Clarks Summit, Pa.) is tied for 30th after shooting a
75.
Brett
Willis (Kettering, Ohio) and Austin
Hannah (Katy, Texas) are tied for 39th and 48th, respectively,
after shooting 76 and 77.
Tuesday's
final round will begin with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start.
