ELMHURST, Ill. - After finishing the regular season with a 19-9
league record, South Dakota State secures the top seed at this
weekend's Summit League Baseball Championship in Tulsa, Okla. The
Jackrabbits claimed the top seed over Oral Roberts, the
tournament's No. 2 seed, by virtue of winning three out of four
games against the Golden Eagles during the regular season. This
will be the first time since ORU joined the league in 1998 that it
will not be the No. 1 seed.
Centenary is the No. 3 seed after compiling a 17-9 league record,
while Oakland claimed the No. 4 seed with a 13-14 league mark. The

sweep over Southern Utah in the final week of the regular
season.
The double-elimination tournament will be held Thursday-Saturday,
May 27-29, at J.L. Johnson Stadium on the campus of Oral Roberts
