TULSA, Okla. - The Oral Roberts baseball squad
is set for a couple of mid-week contests as they face Oklahoma
State on Tuesday evening at ONEOK Field, beginning at 7 p.m.,
followed by a showdown with UALR at home on Wednesday at 6:30.
Starting at $5, tickets are still available for Tuesday's
contest with the Cowboys. They can be ordered by contacting the
Tulsa Drillers ticket office or online at TulsaDrillers.com.
Wednesday evening is Faith & Family Night at J.L. Johnson
Stadium. There will be a special group right of $3 for local
churches, and the group with the most represented fans will have
their pastor or sponsor throw out the first pitch prior the ORU
game against the Trojans.
For more information on Faith & Family Night, contact John
Klein at 918-495-7546.
The Golden Eagles enter the week after falling in a three-game
set at Stephen F. Austin this past weekend, with each game being
decided in the ninth, tenth and eighth innings, respectively.
Both the Cowboys and the Trojans make the trip to Tulsa with
their own struggles, losing in their weekend series' as well. OSU
dropped the series opener and finale at Kansas and UALR won their
opener at Middle Tennessee State, before falling short in the
second two games.
ORU and OSU haven't face each other since the 2006 Fayetteville
Regional when the Golden Eagles took two from the Cowboys to
advance on to the Super Regionals against Clemson.
