STORYLINES
► Oral Roberts returns to the Mabee Center for its only home game of December for the TTCU Best Field Trip. The Golden Eagles host Lyon College in just the second ever meeting between the two schools. The Golden Eagles will be looking to stop a six-game losing streak, the longest for ORU since dropping nine straight early during the 203-14 season.
► Sophomore Kaylan Mayberry has led ORU in scoring in each of the last two games with season-highs of 17 and 18 points at Arkansas and Missouri State. Mayberry has scored in double figures in three consecutive games and is averaging 16 ppg during that stretch.
► Two sophomores lead ORU in scoring as both average double figures with Bria Pitts (11 ppg) and Faith Ihim (10.4 ppg). Ihim also leads the team in rebounding averaging six boards per game.
► Bria Pitts has proven to be a top three-point shooter for ORU as she ranks third among Summit League players in three-pointers made (2.4 pg) and ranks fifth in three-point percentage at 39.3 percent.
► The Golden Eagles continue to limit opponents beyond the three-point arc ranking fifth nationally in opponent's three-point percentage. ORU has held teams to 22.2 percent beyond the arc while the nation's leader Charleston Southern holds opponents to 17.1 percent.
► A tough early season schedule has been placed in front of the Golden Eagles in preparation for The Summit League season. In 12 non-conference games for ORU the Golden Eagles have or will face eight teams that reached postseason play during the 2014-15 season. Four games against NCAA tournament teams and another four against teams that earned a bid in the WNIT do not include The Summit League's automatic qualifier, South Dakota State and WNIT participant, South Dakota, amongst postseason teams on the 2015-16 schedule.
