LAWRENCE, Kan. – It was another impressive meet for the Oral Roberts track and field team as it closed the Rock Chalk Classic Saturday.

Gabrielle Gibson sprinted her way to two finishes in the top 10 in events spanning 100 meters on the track, while Shalom Olotu added a fifth-place result in the triple jump for the ORU women.

Aaron Charlton posted the Golden Eagles best 100 meter dash time of the year for the men crossing the finish line in 10.38 seconds placing second overall.

News and Notes
-Gibson placed in the top seven of the 100 meter hurdles for the fifth time in five meets during the outdoor season and shattered her career best Saturday running 13.41 seconds.

-Olotu turned in her third top-10 result of the weekend finishing fifth in the triple jump leaping to ORU's best effort of the spring.

-The Golden Eagles had a pair of competitors end the 800 meter run in the top six led by Daniels Bambals' second-place performance.
