GREELEY, Colo. – The Oral Roberts baseball team hits the road for a four-game trip featuring a three-game set at Summit League foe Northern Colorado April 29-May 1 and a midweek matchup at Air Force May 2. Friday's series opener against the Bears is slated for 3 p.m. central time.

Inside the Series (Northern Colorado)
• Friday's series opener marks the eighth meeting all-time and first since 1981 between the Golden Eagles and Bears. ORU will be making its first trip to Greeley, Colorado.
• The Golden Eagles are a perfect 7-0 all-time against Northern Colorado and have outscored the Bears 64-17 in the series. All seven contests were played in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Inside the Series (Air Force)
• Monday's midweek against the Falcons marks the first meeting all-time between the two programs.Â
• Air Force is the fifth first-time opponent the Golden Eagles have faced this season. ORU is 2-2 in those contests this season.

• ORU is currently riding a five-game road win streak and has won seven of their last 10 contests overall.
• The Golden Eagles snapped their two-game skid Tuesday night with a 5-1 victory over in-state foe Oklahoma in midweek action at J.L. Johnson Stadium. The win marked the third of the season for ORU over a Power 5 program.

Cade Denton combined to throw 8.1 scoreless innings and 13 strikeouts. Archambo picked up his fourth win of the campaign after tossing a scoreless frame with one punchout.
• Hall was sharp on the bump, tossing three scoreless innings and striking out five. In his last two midweek outings, the freshman has thrown six scoreless frames, struck out 11 and faced one over the minimum.Â

Holden Breeze matched his season-high for RBIs with three in the victory, all coming on a bases-clearing triple in the first inning.Â

Jackson Loftin launched his team-leading seventh home run of the season in the win. With a 2-for-3 performance at the dish, Loftin extended his hitting streak to 10 games. During the 10-game stretch, the redshirt junior owns a .459/.522/.703 slash line to go along with two homers, 10 RBIs and four stolen bases.
• In the Summit League, ORU's offense ranks first in batting average (.286), runs (264), hits (374), doubles (71), triples (14), RBIs (238), walks (184) and sacrifice flies (21). On the mound, the Golden Eagles lead the conference in innings pitched (333.0) and strikeouts (359).

Nationally, ORU enters the weekend ranked 20th in fielding percentage (0.978), 21st in WHIP (1.29), 24th in triples, 25th in triples per game (0.37), 25th in strikeout-to-walk ratio (2.83), 32nd in walks allowed per nine innings (3.43), 34th in ERA (4.08) and 34th in sacrifice flies.

Caleb Denny continues to sit atop the Summit League in RBIs with 38, while Loftin remains the league leader in runs scored with 40. Loftin also ranks inside the top 5 in 11 different statistical categories.

Isaac Coffey leads the league in walks allowed with nine.
• The Golden Eagles will throw RHPÂ
Evan Kowalski on Friday followed by LHP Smith and RHP Coffey on Saturday.
• Coffey enters the weekend just five strikeouts away from 200 for his career.
• ORU was selected as the unanimous favorite to retain their regular-season crown in the 2022 Summit League Preseason Coaches' poll, garnering 36 points and all six of the possible first-place votes they could attain.
• Coffey earned plenty of preseason accolades as the junior was selected as the Summit League Preseason Pitcher of the Year by both D1 Baseball and Perfect Game USA. The Goleta, California, native also garnered Preseason All-American honors from the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association and Collegiate Baseball.Â
Joshua Cox was selected as the Summit League Player of the Year by both D1 Baseball and Perfect Game USA.Â
Brooks Fowler garnered Preseason Summit League Freshman of the Year honors from D1 Baseball.
Scouting the Opponent (Northern Colorado)
• Northern Colorado enters the weekend following a series loss to St. Thomas. The Bears are 4-6 in their last 10 contests.
• Shaydon Kubo leads the way offensively for the Bears as the sophomore tops the team in home runs (7) and has driven in 26 runs.
• RHP Iaan Torpey, LHP Iain Isdale and RHP Dylan Day will take the mound for Northern Colorado on the weekend.
• The Bears, who are in their inaugural season in the Summit League, were picked to finish sixth in the preseason coaches' poll.Â
Scouting the Opponent (Air Force)
• Air Force enters the weekend with a 4-6 mark in their last 10 contests. Prior to hosting the Golden Eagles, the Falcons welcome UNLV for a three-game set over the weekend.
• Sam Kulasingam leads the charge offensively for the Falcons with a .389 average to go along with six homers and 42 RBIs.Â
• In the 2022 Mountain West Preseason Coaches' poll, Air Force was selected fifth.
