VERMILLION, S.D. – Kevin Jackson and Deborah Mazzei earned a spot in the finals as the Oral Roberts track and field team concluded day one of the Summit League Indoor Championships in Vermillion, South Dakota on Friday. 

News and Notes

• Jackson qualified for both the 60 meter dash and 200 meter dash after registering times of 6.74 and 22.16, respectively.
• On the women's side, Mazzei earned a spot in the 800 meter finals after recording a time of 2:16.41.
• In the 3000 meter run, Erik Flores Burciaga placed eighth with a time of 8:27.48. The junior will compete in the mile run tomorrow at 1 p.m.
• Avery Mazzei will race in the mile run tomorrow at 1:20 p.m.
• In field events, Joyce Nabagereka will compete in the shot put, while Keithwood Stubbs will participate in the high jump. Both events are scheduled for tomorrow at noon.
