TULSA, Okla. – The Oral Roberts University baseball program is proud to announce that Brooks Fowler has been selected in the 15th round of the 2024 MLB Draft by the Texas Rangers. This selection highlights Fowler's impressive career and remarkable achievements during his time with the Golden Eagles.
Over three seasons at Oral Roberts, Fowler built a distinguished resume that includes being named to the 2023 ABCA/Rawlings Central All-Region First Team, the 2023 and 2024 All-Summit League Second Team, and the 2024 Summit League All-Tournament Team. Additionally, he was recognized as the 2022 D1Baseball Summit League Preseason Freshman of the Year. As a native of Jenks High School and a member of the 2023 College World Series Team, Fowler's contributions to the state of Oklahoma's rich baseball history have been significant and memorable.
Fowler held a career record of 16-7 at ORU, with a staggering 192 strikeouts in 182 innings of work. His consistency and performance on the mound have made him a key player for the Golden Eagles.

"His selection in the MLB Draft is a tribute to his talent and relentless work ethic.
