TULSA, OKLA. – The Oral Roberts baseball remains perfect at home and walks off Missouri State in extras 8-7.

Cooper Combs singled three times including the walk-off single grabbing his 10th RBI of the season.

The Bears opened up the scoring right away with five in the top of the first inning highlighted by a grand slam.  It was the largest deficit after one inning ORU has faced all season.

In the third, the Golden Eagle bats came alive scoring four runs in the frame thanks to a Wailele Kane-Yates RBI single, and Tyler Brodrick picking up his first two RBIs of the season on a single.

Both pitching staffs settled in until the seventh where it was Kane-Yates coming through at the plate again doubling down the left field line tying the game at five.  Moments later Brodrick would follow up with two more RBIs on a single into right giving ORU their first lead of the game.

In the ninth, Conner Floyd would come on to try and close the door but the Bears tied it with a two-run homer down to their final strike and would send it to extras tied at seven.

Floyd would bounce back however in the tenth going 1-2-3 with a pair of strikeouts setting the table for the Golden Eagle offense in the bottom half.

Keaton Campbell got his first at-bat of the evening in the tenth and he drew a lead-off walk, Martell Davis followed it up by getting hit by the very next pitch.  Moments later Combs stepped to the dish with two on and two outs and walked it off with a single into right-center field lifting the Golden Eagles to a dramatic 8-7 win.
