Â
Ryan Folmar's team has also found a one-two punch for the starting rotation in right-handers
Easton Teel who tossed his fourth straight quality start against Northern Colorado, and
Nathan Love who threw his second scoreless outing of the season last Saturday.Â
Â
As for Omaha, they come home off a series defeat against South Dakota State dropping two of three, however, they have won seven of their last ten games. Ever since getting swept at Chapman Park the Mavericks are 7-4 with a series win over North Dakota State and a mid-week win over Nebraska.

Scouting the Opponent:
Omaha comes into their second series with Oral Roberts at 12-20 and 6-9 in league play. Most recently they dropped two of three to South Dakota State in Brookings over the weekend winning their lone game 19-5. The Mavericks sport an 8-7 home record which is much better than their 4-13 record away from Tal Anderson Field.
Â
Henry Zipay continues to get on base leading the team in average at .387 with one homer and 15 RBIs to go along with a slugging percentage of .529 and a .490 on base. Jackson Trout stays atop the charts as Omaha's best power hitter slugging four homer and 24 RBIs with a .325 batting average. Tyler Bishop sneaks into the top-three conversation with the team-leading 27 RBIs. As a group Omaha hits .266 which ranks 199th nationally and has hit 18 homers, ranking 259th overall.
Â
Ben Weber has been the team's lead on the mound with a 1-4 record and 5.04 ERA in nine starts. Against ORU he threw 3.1 innings of relief giving up six hits and four runs in a 10-0 loss. Cameron Teiner is posting an 0-4 record and 8.21 ERA in three starts in 2025. Outside of the Friday starter spot, Saturday and Sunday have essentially been a revolving door of arms for the Mavericks. As a unit, their ERA sits at 7.58 which sits at 245th in the country, a WHIP of 1.83 at 238th nationally, and allow an opponent batting average of .298. They allowed 25 runs on 22 hits across three games against ORU in March.
Â
Defensively Omaha has been a solid unit with a fielding percentage of .966 committing just 38 errors and turning 23 double plays on the year. However, the defense struggles against the Golden Eagles at Chapman Park committing seven errors over the weekend series.
