OMAHA, NEB. - The Oral Roberts baseball team dropped game two as four errors allowed Omaha to even the series up with a 5-2 win Friday night.

Will Edmunson extended his hit streak to 16 games, going 2-for-4 with an RBI.

The Golden Eagles fell behind early in game two as Omaha came out with two runs right away in the bottom of the first inning. The Mavs weren't done as they'd tack on one more in the third, jumping out in front 3-0.

ORU got on the board in the top of the third with an RBI double from
Cooper Combs, scoring
Martell Davis, but Edmunson was thrown out at home trying to score from first base.Â

Omaha would get right back to work in the fourth, scoring again on an infield single, and three errors allowed a run to come in. ORU committed four errors in total on the night.Â

Edmunson got back to it offensively with an RBI single in the fifth, driving in
Matthew Mainord, who led off the frame with a double, but that would be the last run the Golden Eagles would grab.Â

A Maverick RBI single gave Omaha a run of insurance, and UNO pitching sat down 11 of the last 12 batters for ORU on their way to evening up the series at one game apiece.Â
