TULSA, OKLA. – Freshman right-hander
Easton Teel has earned Perfect Game Second Team Freshman All-American honors after his standout 2025 season with Oral Roberts.
He is the sixth Freshman All-American under Head Coach
Ryan Folmar, the first since Isaac Coffey was selected by multiple publications in 2019.
Teel, a native of Choctaw, Oklahoma, started 10 games for ORU, tossing nine quality starts in that span. He finished the season with a 7-2 record and a Summit League leading 2.95 ERA.
The Golden Eagles' Friday night starter ranked top five in the Summit League in ERA, wins, opponent batting average, innings pitched, runs allowed, and walks allowed. Teel finished the season recording 54 strikeouts in 17 appearances with a career high eight against Omaha on March 21
st.
In the Summit League Tournament, the Summit League Newcomer of the Year went a career-high eight innings, allowing just two runs in a win over South Dakota State.

Ryan Folmar ahead of Teel's start in the Summit League Tournament. "He's been very consistent, the stuff seems to get stronger as the game goes on, he's got toughness, he's competitive, he's got all of the tools you want in a weekend starter."
Teel is the only freshman from the Summit League to receive Perfect Game Freshman All-American honors in 2025.
