TULSA, Okla. – The ORU women's basketball program has finalized its 2025 recruiting class, Head Coach
Cophie Anderson announced on Friday afternoon.
Coach Anderson and staff have signed five incoming transfers and one incoming freshman to their 2025-26 roster as the program comes off back-to-back 20-win seasons, reaching the WNIT in 2024 and WBIT in 2025. ORU's fall signees in Kayten Donley, Bella Edwards and A'Maya Holton, will also join the Golden Eagle squad this fall.
Hannah Coons | 6'1" | Kiefer, Oklahoma | Redshirt Sophomore | Forward
"We are excited to welcome Hannah Coons back home to Tulsa," said Head Coach
Cophie Anderson. "Hannah has a high character, a high basketball IQ, but most importantly a winning mindset which will be a major addition to our program and culture. After red-shirting last season, she has a drive and hunger to compete at ORU and within our conference. I cannot wait for her collegiate debut and to see what she does this season and for years to come!"
Last season as a freshman at the University of South Dakota, Hannah Coons utilized a redshirt after suffering from an injury. In high school, Coons garnered back-to-back Heartland Conference Player of the Year accolades while averaging 21.9 points, 9.3 rebounds and 3.6 assists her junior year. She led Kiefer to a 22-6 record and its first state tournament victory, in which she was the 3A state tournament's leading scorer and named to the All-State Tournament team. At Kiefer HS she scored more than 1,300 career points and was a National Honor Society member and honor roll student.
Jordynn Conner | 5'10" | Denver, Colo. | Graduate Student | Guard

Cophie Anderson. "She brings passion, grit, and a motor that will raise our competitive environment daily. She's joining the squad with a Sixth Woman of the Year honor under her belt and the heart to defend multiple positions, rebound, and be the dawg that every great team needs. I cannot wait to see what she does this season!
Jordynn Conner attended Langston University, playing in 53 games over her two-year stint as a Lion. She won the Sooner Athletic Conference (SAC) Sixth Woman of the Year award in 2024-25, averaging 7.6 ppg, 4.9 rpg and 1.9 spg during her senior season. She helped the Lions to a 55-11 record over her two-year tenure at Langston. Prior to her time at Langston, she spent two years at Coffeyville CC.
Ari Gordon | 5'11" | Maple Grove, Minn. | Redshirt Junior | Guard
"We are thrilled to have Ari Gordon as a member of our Golden Eagle family! Ari was named KJCCC Co-Defensive Player of the Year and averaged 10+ ppg, a force on both sides of the ball. There is no doubt that she will elevate our team," said Head Coach
Cophie Anderson. "She has a smile that will light up the room but her athleticism, elite ability to defend, get steals and block shots will shine even brighter!"
Ari Gordon spent her freshman (redshirted), redshirt-freshman and redshirt sophomore seasons at Seward County Community College where she averaged 10.6 ppg, 4.7 rpg and 2.2 apg during the 2024-25 season. Gordon was named KJCCC (Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference) Co-Defensive Player of the Year last season, ranking top 10 in the KJCCC in both steals and blocks while averaging 4.7 rebounds per game, helping the Saints hold opponents to just 53.1 points per game. Throughout her career as a Lady Saint, she saw action in 50 games, starting in 61. During her senior year at Maple Grove HS in Minnesota, she was named an All-Conference Honorable Mention after winning the conference title.
Preslee Hartsock | 5'8" | Norman, Oklahoma | Freshman | Guard
"Class 3A Player of the Year and McDonald's All-American Nominee-Preslee Hartsock has a heart of passion, fire, grit and plays with a motor and toughness that you can't help but notice. Preslee's high basketball IQ, court vision, ability to score at all three levels and winning mindset will fit in well with our culture and what we want to continue here at ORU," Head Coach
Cophie Anderson said. "I'm super excited for our fans to watch her in action next season, you won't be disappointed!"
Preslee Hartsock attended Community Christian School in Norman, Oklahoma, where she was the Class 3A Girls Player of the Year, an OGBCA All-State selection, the GMAC Conference Most Outstanding Player of the Year and a McDonald's All-American nominee. Hartsock holds the total points record (1,332), assist record (518) and steals record (402) at Community Christian.
Taylor Jackson | 6'3" | Houston, Tex. | Graduate Student | Forward/Center
"We are excited to add Taylor to our team," said Head Coach
Cophie Anderson. "She will bring an experienced post presence to our squad. She averaged a double-double, joined the 1000 point club, recorded 300+ blocks, and reached the 1600+ career rebounds mark at Friends. We are looking forward to what she will bring to our roster!"
Taylor Jackson spent four years at Friends University, starting in 107-of-122 career games as a Falcon. Jackson averaged a double-double in each of her four seasons at Friends. In 2021-22 she earned the KCAC Freshman of the Year award and a spot on the KCAC All-Defensive Team, KCAC All-Freshman Team and Third Team All-KCAC, averaging 12.2 ppg and 10.2 rpg on the year. She averaged 11.4 ppg and 10.2 rpg her sophomore year before averaging 14.9 ppg and 11.5 rpg in 2023-24 and 14.8 ppg and 12.2 rpg in 2024-25.
Anna Trusty | 6'0" | Greenwood, Arkansas | Sophomore | Guard
"We are excited to welcome Anna Trusty as an immense addition to our program. Anna brings a heart for Christ, a track record of winning, and a championship mentality, winning consecutive state championships in high school, multiple POYs and MIAA Freshman of the Year," said Head Coach
Cophie Anderson. "Anna is a big time threat at all three levels on the court. I believe she will have an immediate impact within our dribble drive system. She will be a joy to watch and coach next season!"
Anna Trusty spent her freshman year at Arkansas Fort-Smith where she averaged 14.4 ppg and 5.5 rpg. From beyond the arc, she shot 42-108 (38.9%) while knocking down 64-73 (87.7%) of her free throws. Trusty took home the MIAA (Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association) Freshman of the Year award and was named to the All-MIAA Third Team.
At Greenwood High School, Trusty was named the 2023-24 Gatorade Arkansas Girls Basketball Player of the Year, Arkansas MaxPreps High School Girls Basketball Player of the Year and Arkansas Democrat-Gazette Player of the Year. She was a four-time All-Conference and three-time All-State honoree and capped her time at Greenwood with three consecutive state championships.
