TULSA, Okla. – The Oral Roberts baseball team concludes their 11-game homestand with a three-game set against Summit League foe Omaha April 1-3 at J.L. Johnson Stadium. Friday's series opener is set for 6 p.m., followed by a 2 p.m. start Saturday and a 1 p.m. first pitch Sunday.

Inside the Series
• The Golden Eagles and Mavericks will meet for the 37th time in Friday's series opener. Omaha is making their first trip to Tulsa, Oklahoma, since May 25, 2019.
• ORU holds a commanding 28-8 edge in the series after sweeping last year's three-game set at Omaha. The Golden Eagles have won seven of the last 10 meetings.
• Head Coach
Ryan Folmar is 28-8 in his career against the Mavericks.

• ORU ran their winning streak to four games with an 11-1 run-rule victory over Arkansas-Pine Bluff in midweek action Tuesday evening at J.L. Johnson Stadium. The victory improved the Golden Eagles to 4-4 on the homestand.
• Redshirt junior
Trey Wolf made his return to the mound for ORU, throwing his first complete inning in 1,039 days. Wolf got the start, tossing a scoreless frame and registering a strikeout.

Andrew Roach picked up his first win as a Golden Eagle in relief after striking out five over four innings of work and allowing an unearned run. As a staff, ORU struck out at least 10 batters for the fourth straight game and 13th time this season.
• Offensively,
Jake McMurray led the way with a 3-for-4 performance at the plate and finished with a career-high-tying four RBIs.
Caleb Denny continued his torrid stretch at the dish, going 2-for-2Â with two RBIs. Over his last five games, Denny is slashing .526/.565/.947 with one home run, three doubles and 11 RBIs.
• On the base paths, the Golden Eagles swiped a season-best eight bags, the most by ORU since 2010.
Jackson Loftin stole a career-high four bases in the win, the most by a Golden Eagle since 2004. Over the last two contests, ORU has stolen 15 bases.
• In the Summit League, ORU's offense ranks first in batting average (.295), runs (192), hits (252), doubles (48), triples (12), RBIs (181) and walks (136). On the mound, the Golden Eagles lead the conference in innings pitched (216.0) and strikeouts (238).
• Nationally, ORU enters the weekend ranked ninth in triples, 12th in triples per game (0.48), 21st in fielding percentage (.979) and 21st in walks.
• Denny ranks 27th nationally and tops the Summit League with 32 RBIs. The Owasso, Oklahoma native also leads the conference in hits (35) and runs scored (29).Â
• After swiping four bases on Tuesday, Loftin now leads the league in stolen bases with 11.
Jake McMurray sits atop the conference leaderboard in walks with 21.

Justin Quinn tops the league in triples and ranks 15th nationally with three.

Ledgend Smith leads the Summit League in strikeouts with 43 and is tied for the top spot in wins (3) with
AJ Archambo.
• RHPÂ
Isaac Coffey will get the start Friday for the Golden Eagles followed by LHP Smith on Saturday and RHP Archambo in the series finale Sunday.Â
• ORU was selected as the unanimous favorite to retain their regular-season crown in the 2022 Summit League Preseason Coaches' poll, garnering 36 points and all six of the possible first-place votes they could attain.
• Coffey earned plenty of preseason accolades as the junior was selected as the Summit League Preseason Pitcher of the Year by both D1 Baseball and Perfect Game USA. The Goleta, California, native also garnered Preseason All-American honors from the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association and Collegiate Baseball.Â
Joshua Cox was selected as the Summit League Player of the Year by both D1 Baseball and Perfect Game USA.Â
Brooks Fowler garnered Preseason Summit League Freshman of the Year honors from D1 Baseball.
Scouting the Opponent
• Omaha enters the weekend 6-4 in their last 10 contests, including a series victory over St. Thomas in their Summit League opener last weekend.
• The Mavericks are led offensively by third baseman Mike Boeve. The sophomore leads the Summit League in batting average (.385), on-base percentage (.543) and doubles (12). Boeve's 12 doubles also rank 16th nationally.
• On the mound, the Mavericks will throw LHP Caleb Riedel Friday, RHP Charlie Bell Saturday and RHP Mark Timmins Sunday. Riedel leads Omaha with a 1.25 ERA.
• Head Coach Evan Porter is in his sixth season at the helm of the Mavericks and owns a 99-141-1 career record. Against the Golden Eagles, Porter is 6-18.
• In the 2022 Summit League Preseason Coaches poll, the Mavericks were picked to finish third.Â
