SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Oral Roberts righthander Easton Teel has been named the latest Kwik Star Summit League Baseball Pitcher of the Week League officials announced Tuesday. Alongside him is South Dakota State slugger Luke Luskey. Teel's weekly nod is the third of his career, while Luskey claimed his first.

Teel threw 6.2 scoreless innings in the Golden Eagles' series-opening 4-0 win over St. Thomas. The Choctaw, Okla., native scattered four hits and struck out a career-high nine Tommies.
 
His efforts helped keep the game scoreless until the bottom of the seventh when ORU's offense put up all four runs. Teel, who has logged three straight quality starts, struck out multiple batters in the second, third, fourth and fifth innings.
 
Luskey went 6-for-14 (.429) at the plate with three home runs and seven RBI over four games for the Jackrabbits last week. In a 7-6 mid-week loss at Oklahoma State, the junior went 2-for-4 with a double and solo home run.
 
The Green Isle, Minn., native hit .400 in a series win over North Dakota State. He put up season highs in hits, runs and RBI in a 13-5 victory in game two that squared things at a game apiece.

Luskey extended SDSU's lead to 5-3 with a RBI-double in the fourth, then added a solo homer in the fifth and three-run blast in the seventh. It was the fourth multiple-home run game of his career.
 
He capped the weekend with another extra-base hit in the series finale as his RBI-double opened the scoring in an eventual 11-1 run-rule victory for the Jacks.
